Shane Cadogan fought an opponent
from Pat McEvoys gym in Galway in Sean Dillons' show in Carlow.
Shane fought very well for the whole fight and dominated with some very
good combinations, never allowing his opponent to settle down.
Shane was also awarded the prize of
'Best Fighter of the Night', which was a fantastic accomplishment
considering there were two European title fights and an Anglo-Irish
title fight on the same bill.
Also, well done to Martin Horgan
and Seamus Cogan, who both defeated English opposition to capture
European titles. Martin and Seamus both trained under Anthony
Corkery in the Cork gym for many years before opening their own club in
Ballincollig, Cork, earlier this year. |
